Indie pop rockers Nada Surf are touring in support of
their latest release, The Weight is a Gift. The
record was primarily produced by Death Cab For Cutie's
Chris Walla and shows that this band is more than their
MTV hit "Popular." Joining them will be buzz
band Rogue Wave, along with King of France.

Acclaimed musicians Bruce Hornsby, Francine Reed, and
Sonny Emory will be a part of the "Nurturing the
Gift" benefit concert at the Hard Rock Cafe' in
Atlanta. All proceeds will benefit Atlanta public
schools and a makeover for the Frederick Douglas High
School Drumline. VIP tickets are also available, which
include meet and greet passes with the artist.

Whirlyball Atlanta
March 11 - 12, 2006
Scottish rockers Mogwai have been cranking out
their experimental indie rock songs for around ten
years. After much acclaim and a stint on 2004's Curiosa
Tour with The Cure, Interpol, Muse, and more, the band
are gearing up to release their 5th album, Mr. Beast,
in March. Chunklet Magazine presents their shows at
Whirlyball Atlanta, and they're selling quickly!
